The Lodge on the Marsh is the perfect retreat for walkers, cyclists, bird watching, wild life enthusiasts or people just wishing to enjoy the countryside in the Isle of WIght. The Lodge offers bed and breakfast accommodation and is located in the private gardens of The House on the Marsh, on the edge of the RSPB Brading Marsh Nature Reserve, Isle of WIght.
How to get to The Lodge on the Marsh
You can get to the Isle of WIght either by car, rail, foot or bicycle on ferries from Portsmouth, Southampton or Lymington. There are car ferries from Lymington to Yarmouth (Wightlink), Southampton to East Cowes (Red Funnel) and Portsmouth to Fishbourne (Wightlink). For foot passengers there are also catamarans from Southampton to Cowes (Red Funnel) and Portsmouth harbour to Ryde Pier (Wightlink) and a hovercraft from Southsea, Portsmouth to Ryde (Hovertravel). The London train from Waterloo meets the catamaran to Ryde and you can rejoin the train which takes you to Brading Station. It is only a few minutes walk to The Lodge on the Marsh.
