TRAVEL

You can get to the Lodge on foot, bike, car, bus or train.  The train service from Ryde Harbour (along the oldest pier in England) to Brading is excellent and rather fun, the Lodge is only a short walk from the station (approximately 10 minutes).  Check out train times on https://www.thetrainline.com/stations/brading.  There is also a great bus network across the Island.  The nearest bus stop is at the top of Quay Lane, again a 10 minute walk to the house.  If you bring your car, we can help with a discount on Wightlink, please email us.   There are footpaths and a cycle track along the old railway line to St Helens to explore.

RATES

The Lodge can be booked from £100 per night based on two people sharing.  Prices vary depending on the time of year.  There is an additional charge for extra guests (more than two) of £30 per person.  If you wish to bring your dog there is an extra charge of £15 per dog per stay.  The price includes a continental breakfast, shower, handwash, cleaning products, towels and linen.  Heating and wifi included.

PETS

We are very happy for you to bring your dog on holiday.   We have a few doggy rules: not on furniture/beds, bring your own dog bed and equipment including towels, not left alone in the Lodge, any damage paid for, respect our garden and clear any mess up.  All dogs should have up to date vacinations. Please note that we have our own dog who lives on the premises - very friendly!

COVID-19  We ask all guests to follow the latest advice given by the government website.  We will deep clean the property between each booking and there is now a later check in time to cover this.  Please do be aware that although we will do our best to make sure that the property is sanitised to a high standard - it is not possible to completely guarantee.  We ask guests to bring their own cleaning/hand sanitisers and to adhere to current government advice.  We also leave cleaning products for you to use during your stay.  If any guest is ill during their stay please would you inform us immediately and you will need to get tested.  You must return home to isolate immediately.  We are following government guidelines strictly.  Please do not put us or our team at risk.

T&Cs in short:

 

• Prices include linen, towels, use of the private hide, continental breakfast, private parking, bike storage

• Full payment is required to book the Lodge

• Please let us know as soon as possible if you need to cancel.

• Dogs are only permitted at George and Juliet's discretion.  Please enquire beforehand if you would like to bring your dog.

• Ferry crossings: We are able to offer all our guests a discount on Wightlink ferry.  Guests will be sent a form on booking and we can send you a quote.  Discounted ferry places are not available on all crossings so please be flexible with your timings.

• Damage: Any damage must be paid for in full.

• Cancellations: If you need to cancel your booking for any reason please let us know as soon as possible so that we can hopefully re let the Lodge.  We are happy to refund 50% of the payment up to 14 days before the arrival date.  No refund within this period.  Please see T&Cs.
